COGNiTiON is an interactive science playground captivating the community and lifelong learners. Enjoy a hands-on center full of intimate exhibits that capture big ideas in creative ways!

Welcome to Cognition! Here are a few things to expect:
Every visit to Cognition has its own magic. Whether it's the crowd, our animals, or a new exhibit- no two days are the same. Families typically spend around 2 hours here on average. Feel free to bring snacks or a packed lunch. If you fancy something different, you're welcome to step out and enjoy one of the lovely restaurants nearby, then return to finish your stay.
What we are:
An interactive science playground captivating the community and lifelong learners. Our mission is to be a fun place to expand minds through hands-on experiences for kids of all ages!
Museum-style format.
Adults accompany children.
Staff are here to guide experiences, present animals, and assist guests.
What we are not:
A child care facility or a drop-off center (except for special programs). In order for us to accomplish our mission and keep Cognition a fun and safe place for everyone, our staff cannot extensively attend to your children.
Children must be under guardian care/ supervision.
Please partner with us to make this a great asset for everyone!
Children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Adult is responsible for their children's supervision and behavior.
Please help children follow Cognition's posted rules and respect the materials.
With approval, a child under 12 may be supervised by an older sibling or teenage sitter.
Adults are encouraged to explore too, and participate in activities.
Cog staff are happy to help support parents, but cannot take the role of care provider.
If these terms are not met, staff may bring a child to their parent's attention.
If disruptive or dangerous behavior continues, the family may be asked to leave for the day.
