each visit

its own magic.

No two days at COGNiTiON are ever the same — whether it's the crowd, our live animals being who they are, or a new exhibit. We got you. There’s no shortage of interesting things to discover. Somebody could be feeding a snake. Or exploring the dynamics of the our solar system in the Planetarium. Who knows? Your kiddo wants to be a pilot? We got you.

Families typically spend between 2 to 3 hours with us when they visit. Many families bring a snack or sack lunch. Not so DIY? We’re steps away from the restaurants of downtown Beulah… grab a bite and come back.

Amazing place with such great opportunities for the kids to have hands-on experiences! My daughter LOVED holding the animals and watching the feedings. We will definitely be back soon!

For a tiny place, there were a ton of different activities and animals to see! Saturdays are snake feeding times. It was very educational for not only my 11 yr old but myself as well. The price is right at $8 a ticket and we spent about 2 hours there.

Brought my 3 year old there to check it out. He had a blast playing with all of the fun hands on toys. The staff even got some of the animals out for the kids to pet and hold. Great experience. We will be back.

This place should be on the top of every family's Must Do list! The vibe is pure hands-on and so interactive. Fun and upbeat, while inspiring curiosity and a hunger for learning. I can't say enough about this experience for both kids, and the young at heart. A new northern Michigan treasure.
