The snow has arrived and the cold has set in. This is the time of year when we slow down on the roads and we don’t venture out as much but COGNiTiON is still here for you and your family. Come entertain our Ferret friend and enjoy some exhibit offerings that are saved for our slower season guests.

Our slippery Lamprey will be hidden in the center on Wednesdays. Look high and low-this creepy guy will be within sight and when you spot it-tell a staff member and win a prize!
Once it is found for the day-the game is over! If it isn’t found it remains in the center until it is located!

Join us at Homeschool day at COG every first thursday of the month! Enjoy discounted admission all day and give your kids a chance to explore the museums FUN exhibits.

Brewmasters COGtoberfest!
This is Cognition’s main event each year to raise support for the interactive, multigenerational science and discovery center. Brewmasters will once again feature out-of-the-box inspiration, live entertainment, and present six tasty brews represented by local “celebrities” for guests to enjoy and vote for their favorite.
The theme of Brewmasters this year is “Octoberfest Science Edition.” In the past, Five Shores Brewing has hosted our event and provided all of the brewing. This year we are opening it up for more participation and competition! We are hosting the event on-site at Cognition for some grown-up science fun, and turning to 6 local breweries to compete for the Brewmasters Trophy.
