Camp @ COG
Camp at Cog is a different adventure each day! But there are some details you can be sure of, as each day includes:
Hands-on exploration of an interesting subject
Connections to culture and nature around the world
Outdoor games that change with the topic
Fun healthy snack
Science experiment and/or art project
Time with Cognition animals and playing in the center.
*Camp sign-up is for all three days. We understand sometimes things come up, and campers might have to miss a little. Please understand that in most cases we cannot prorate for missed time (due to staffing and other expenses).
Each week, Day Camps are geared for different age groups. 4-7, 6-10, or 8-12 yrs old. Please check the schedule for the best fit.
*We also have two weeks of stand alone 2 hour Workshops instead of 3 day camp. Workshops will be available twice a day on M, Tue, Wed of those weeks if you are looking for a shorter commitment. More details TBA.

Sprockets
4-7 Years Old
Camp is Mon-Wed 10am-1pm
Cost: $100/ $80 members
Discounts: 20% off siblings, 10% off for additional weeks
Campers will need a packed lunch, water bottle, beach towel, and sunscreen (all labeled please). Healthy, fun snacks are provided.
Sprocket Camp will be just the right mix of learning and playing for our beginning campers!

The challenges and tasks will be an intermediate level for this vast age range, with lots of flexibility and free-time breaks. There will be plenty of choice activities to adapt to the vast ages.

Masters
8-12 Years Old

Master Camp will have the most challenging projects and depth of subject exploration for our advanced campers! But don’t worry, it will still have an eclectic, hands-on style with lots of games to keep things fun and interesting! We’re excited to give our Masters more say in what we do and how far we can take our investigations.

Counselor In Training
CIT's need to be at least 9 years old, and at least 2 years older than the oldest camper range for the week (as camp is divided by age this year, the age requirements vary. See camp schedule).
Mon 9am-4:30, Tue & Wed, 9:30-4:30 (end times 1:30 on Sprocket weeks) CIT's camp day is extended from for help setting up and cleaning up.
Cost: $100/ $80 members, on full-day camps $50/$40 on 3 hr "Sprocket" weeks Reduced price per week, as they will help out for the other part of tuition!
CIT's will need a packed lunch, water bottle, beach towel, and sunscreen (all labeled please). Healthy, fun snacks are provided.
CIT’s will learn leadership skills and assist camp counselors with games and projects. They will get the fun of camp, with some extra responsibility and training! We are planning some special activities and hand-outs for these young leaders and expect it to be a special addition to Camp @ Cog!
*Limit, 2 per week.

A short commitment and a taste of camp! Perfect for busy schedules or nervous campers. We’ll do a short exploration, a hands-on take home project, and a game! Parents can drop kids off or stick around. *Participants get free admission to Cognition for the day!
